We started TransferBay because we were tired of the friction. As designers and developers ourselves, we spent too much time wrestling with file sharing tools that weren't built for creative work. Massive PSD files would choke on email. Cloud storage links would expire at the worst moment. And every platform seemed to bury the simple act of sending a file under layers of unnecessary complexity.
Creative professionals deserved better than generic cloud storage. They needed a tool that understood their workflow — large files, tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders, and the need for everything to just work. That's the gap TransferBay was designed to fill.
